Siswa Edu Global School Juara 1 di Kompetisi Mengingat Kosakata 10 Bahasa Asing


Siswa Edu Global School mengukir prestasi gemilang pada ajang “Mengingat Kosakata 10 Bahasa Asing” yang diprakarsai Ingatan Gajah dan Indonesia Memory Sport Council, Kamis (10/10/2024).

Dalam ajang yang menantang ingatan luar biasa ini, total 13.090 kosakata dari 10 bahasa asing berhasil diingat oleh seluruh peserta. Para peserta dituntut untuk menghafal kosakata bahasa Spanyol, Jerman, Prancis, Korea, Italia, Denmark, dan Turki.

Salah satu prestasi gemilang diraih oleh siswa SMA Edu Global School, Nabiel Ahza Aritonang, yang berhasil mengingat 400 kosakata dalam 4 bahasa, yakni Spanyol, Jerman, Denmark, dan Turki. Alhasil ia pun keluar sebagai juara 1 dalam kompetisi tersebut.

Selain Nabiel, beberapa siswa Edu Global School lainnya juga mencatatkan prestasi dalam ajang tersebut. Di antaranya, Alzena Moza Atifasyahra, Aila Zada Diansyah, dan Aighar Amara Nasution, berhasil mengingat 100 kosakata dalam bahasa Korea. Sedangkan, Milan Rakhshan Fathurahman dan Azka Nabila Hasibuan, mencatatkan 100 kosakata dalam bahasa Prancis.

Kemudian, Luvena Aisya Raditya unggul dalam bahasa Spanyol, dan beberapa peserta lainnya, seperti Jiwa Ibrahim, Khansa Zalfa Az Zahrah Firmansyah, serta Deianeira Chantika Dewi Br. Rambe, mencatatkan rekor dalam bahasa Italia.

Sebagaimana diketahui, perhelatan tersebut diikuti sebanyak 118 siswa yang berasal dari sekolah di seluruh Indonesia. Di mana, 15 peserta merupakan siswa SMA Edu Global School.

Perhelatan yang berlangsung di sekolah Edu Global School ini juga tercatat dalam Museum Rekor Dunia Indonesia (MURI) dengan jumlah peserta terbanyak.

Kepala Sekolah SMA Edu Global School, Rahmat Ramadhan Syahputra, mengakuk bangga atas prestasi yang diraih oleh anak muridnya.

"Ini adalah pencapaian luar biasa bagi para siswa dan peserta. Mereka menunjukkan kemampuan luar biasa dalam mengingat kosakata berbagai bahasa asing. Ini bukan hanya soal jumlah, tapi juga kemampuan memahami dan menguasai berbagai bahasa," jelas Rahmat Ramadhan Syahputra.

Ketua pelaksana acara, Safira Azizah, mengapresiasi atas partisipasi seluruh peserta yang ikut dalam kompetisi “Mengingat Kosakata 10 Bahasa Asing”.

“Kami sangat bangga melihat semangat dan dedikasi para peserta. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia memiliki potensi besar dalam bidang memory sport, dan kami berharap ajang ini dapat terus berkembang di masa depan,” terangnya.

Ketua Umum Indonesia Memory Sport Council, Yudi Lesmana, berharap rekor MURI ini dapat menginspirasi generasi muda untuk terus mengasah kemampuan ingatan mereka.


"Dengan pencapaian ini, Indonesia Memory Sport Council terus berupaya untuk mengembangkan potensi memory sport di Indonesia, serta menjadikannya sebagai sarana bagi para pelajar untuk lebih meningkatkan kemampuan akademis dan daya ingat mereka di berbagai bidang," terangnya.

Sementara itu, Direktur Marketing MURI, Ignasius Awan Rahargo, berharap bahwa kegiatan ini terus digelar sebagai motviasi kepada generasi muda yang ada Indonesia.


"Ini bukan sekadar kompetisi, tapi bentuk pembuktian dari kemampuan luar biasa para peserta dalam menguasai kosakata berbagai bahasa. Kami harap acara ini dapat terus digelar dan semakin banyak generasi muda yang termotivasi," tandasnya usai menyerahkan penghargaan secara simbolisi kepada para juara melalui saluran daring.
