Medan, February 15, 2025 – A proud moment for Edu Global Medan as one of its students, Dastan Nawaazish Yoesoef, secured 2nd place in the highly competitive English Olympiad organized by English First (EF) on February 15, 2025. The competition, which attracted participants from various schools, tested students' English proficiency in areas such as grammar, vocabulary, public speaking, and critical thinking.

Dastan’s outstanding performance in the competition reflects his dedication and strong command of the English language. He competed against some of the brightest students, demonstrating exceptional skills in both written and spoken English. His ability to articulate ideas clearly and think critically under pressure played a crucial role in securing his position among the top winners.

The English Olympiad, an annual event organized by EF, aims to promote English proficiency among students and provide a platform for them to showcase their linguistic abilities. This year’s competition saw an increase in participants, making the challenge even tougher. Despite the fierce competition, Dastan’s perseverance and determination led him to achieve an impressive second-place finish.

Teachers and fellow students at Edu Global Medan expressed their pride and admiration for Dastan’s achievement. His English teacher, Mrs. Dinda Saragih, stated, “Dastan has always been a hardworking and enthusiastic learner. His success in this competition is well deserved, and we are confident he will continue to achieve great things in the future.”
