PEMBENTUKAN KOMITE SEKOLAH DI EDU GLOBAL MEDAN




Berdasarkan Pasal 56 ayat 3 UU SPN No. 20/2003, komite sekolah adalah lembaga mandiri yang dibentuk dan berperan dalam peningkatan mutu pelayanan dengan memberikan pertimbangan, arahan, dan dukungan tenaga, sarana dan prasarana, serta pengawasan pendidikan pada tingkat satuan pendidikan.


Pembentukan komite ini juga diatur dalam Keputusan Menteri Pe
ndidikan Nasional No. 044/U/2002 Tentang Dewan Pendidikan dan Komite Sekolah.

Di sana tertulis bahwa lembaga mandiri ini harus mewadahi peran serta masyarakat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, baik pada pendidikan pra sekolah, jalur pendidikan sekolah, maupun jalur pendidikan luar sekolah.


Untuk itu pada 10 Agustus 2024 Edu Global School Medan yang terdiri dari unit SD-SMP dan SMA membentuk Komite sekolah sebagai wadah orang tua untuk membantu sekolah terkhusus pada memberi masukan terkait peningkatan mutu Pendidikan baik itu kepada Lembaga maupun guru yang ada di Edu Global Medan.


Adapun peran komite sekolah perlu mengacu pada dasar partisipasi masyarakat dalam meningkatkan hasil dan kualitas pendidikan.Itu sebabnya pembentukan komite ini harus disesuaikan dengan otonomi dan posisi yang ada di lingkungan pendidikan
