SMP EDU GLOBAL Medan Students Explore PT. PELINDO Medan in an Exciting Outing Class

 


Medan, February 2024 – Students of SMP EDU GLOBAL had an enriching experience during their outing class to PT. PELINDO Medan. This educational visit provided them with valuable insights into the company’s operations and the various divisions that contribute to the port's efficiency.


The students were welcomed warmly by PT. PELINDO’s staff, who guided them through different divisions within the company. They learned about the essential roles and functions of each department, such as logistics, shipping management, port operations, and customer service. Through these explanations, the students gained a deeper understanding of how the port plays a crucial role in Indonesia’s trade and economic activities.


An interactive Q&A session was also held, where students eagerly asked questions to the professionals at PT. PELINDO. The speakers, consisting of experienced employees and managers, provided detailed explanations and shared real-life experiences about their work in the maritime industry. This session allowed students to broaden their knowledge and get a glimpse of potential career opportunities in the field.


The outing class not only enriched the students’ academic learning but also enhanced their curiosity and enthusiasm for the logistics and transportation sector. Through hands-on learning experiences like this, SMP EDU GLOBAL continues to provide meaningful educational opportunities for its students.

At the end of the visit, students expressed their gratitude to PT. PELINDO for the warm hospitality and insightful learning experience. This outing class will surely remain a memorable and inspiring moment for the young learners as they continue their journey of education and discovery.
